Rivals Ranking: ***** #1 Shooting Guard, #7 Overall

ESPN Ranking: ***** #1 Shooting Guard, #9 Overall

With Archie Goodwin declaring for the NBA Draft, along with the graduation of Julius Mays and Twanny Beckham, the Cats needed to find a new shooting guard for the 2013 team, and that’s where Aaron Harrison comes in. He’s the top shooting guard in the recruiting class of 2013 and one of the best overall players in the entire class.

He’s a lights-out 3-point shooter and one of the top perimeter defenders in the 2013 class. He has great ball-handling skills and is an excellent driver, which means he will thrive in John Calipari’s dribble drive offense. Aaron plays very aggressive and isn’t afraid of contact while driving to the rim. His driving ability combined with his 3-point shooting ability will make him one of, if not the hardest player to guard of any 2013 recruit. His brother Andrew is also a UK recruit, and both brothers have stated their desire to play for the same school.
