1. #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (5-0, 2-0) Last Game vs. Georgia State Panthers 45-3 Win: The marquee should have read:  Two Time Defending Champion Alabama Crimson Tide vs. First Year FBS Georgia State Panthers.  Georgia State didn’t stand a chance. Next Game:   @ Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, October 12th  @ 7:00  PM ET.

2. #7 Georgia Bulldogs (4-1, 3-0) Last Game vs. Tennessee Volunteers 34-31 Win : Another close game for Mark Richt and the Dawgs but another W.  Gotta win those to be a champion so kudos to them.  The W came at the loss of RB Keith Marshall who was filling for the already injured Todd Gurley but Frosh JJ Green stepped in going 17-129.  Offense was humming but the D took nap in the second.  Need more consistency.   Next Game: vs. #25 Missouri Tigers on Saturday, October 12th @ 12:00 PM ET

3. #10 LSU Tigers (5-1, 2-1) Last Game vs. Mississippi State University 59-26 Win: LSU took the loss last week to Georgia out on MSU.  Mettenberger, Hill and Beckham, Jr. just embarassed Dan Mullen’s team.  It was close through three (3) quarters but LSU scored 28 in the fourth (4th).  Their running game is strong.  Next Game:  vs. #17 Florida Gators on Saturday, October 12th @ 3:30 PM ET

4. #9  Texas A&M Aggies (4-1, 1-1) Last Game BYE WEEK:  Next Game:  at Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday, October 12th @ 8:30 PM ET

5. #14 South Carolina Gamecocks (4-1, 2-1) Last Game vs. Kentucky Wildcats 35-28 Win: Connor Shaw was banged up but he torched the Wildcats for good measure.  The story of the game was Mike Davis who ran circles around and busted through the Wildcats.  To be fair, Jadeveon Clowney didn’t suit up tonight and they cruised through three (3) but had to hold off a rally in the fourth (4th).  Next Game:    at Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday, October 12th  @  12:21 PM ET

6. #17 Florida Gators (4-1, 3-0) Last Game vs. Arkansas Razorbacks 30-10 Win: Florida put their best foot forward in the second (2nd) quarter behind a little defense and a little offense, scoring on both sides.  Tyler Murphy is making people forget Jeff Driskell was the starter.  Their D was stout, allowing only a TD and FG, one each half respectively.  Next Game: at LSU Tigers on Saturday, October 12th @ 3:30 PM ET

7. #25 Missouri Tigers (5-0, 4-0) Last Game vs. Vanderbilt Commodores 51-28 Win: This is what Mizzou expected to do in their first SEC season last year but for some teams the learning curve is steep.  Essentially the blew this game open in the First Half as they built up a 30-7 lead behind QB James Franklin.  They were efficient on offense and spread the ball around.  Vanderbilt didn’t stand a chance.   Next Game: @ #7 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, October 12th @ 12:00 PM ET
