Welcome to the last great streak for Kentucky Wildcats football to overcome. Florida has won 26 straight games versus Kentucky and 32 of the last 33 games. And as you can see from the scores above, it has not been remotely close in the last five seasons. However, it is a new era in Kentucky football with Mark Stoops at the helm and Florida is seemingly pretty vulnerable with a new QB making his first career start.

If Kentucky is to end the streak, it has to happen at Commonwealth. UK is 10-18 versus UF at Commonwealth versus 7-28 away from home. And the Lexington games are somewhat closer with UK losing by an average score of 24.75 to 19.89 versus 29.63 to 13.83 at the Swamp. Florida is coming off a not-too-impressive 31-17 win over Tennessee. who was coming off a 59-14 loss to Oregon.

Is this the year to end the streak? oddsmakers would say no as the line opened at 13.5 points, but that is why they play the games. Let’s meet the Gators.
