Former Kentucky Wildcats in the NFL: Week 3

Steve Johnson (WR/ Buffalo): In his first game without a touchdown, Johnson finished with six receptions for 86 yards. A touchdown would have helped as the Bills fell to the Jets on the road, 27-20.

Randall Cobb (WR/Green Bay): Cobb contributed to the Packers’ 244 receiving yards on offense, as well as their collapse. He finished with five receptions on 11 targets for 54 yards, with Cobb nearly saving the game for the Packers in the end. After what had seemed like a first down conversion, the Bengals challenged the spot of the ball and the play resulted in a fourth down for the Packers. The following play, a Green Bay fumble led to the recovery and game-winning touchdown for the Bengals in a 34-30 loss.

Tim Masthay (P/Green Bay): Masthay had three punts for 130 yards in the loss to Cincinnati.

Alfonso Smith (RB/Arizona): Smith scored his second career touchdown on Sunday, and as of now is the only former Cat to score this week. He finished with three carries for 27 yards, but it was Arizona’s only touchdown in a 31-7 loss to New Orleans.

Corey Peters (DT/Atlanta): Peters finished with four tackles in a close loss to Miami, 27-23.

Winston Guy (S/Jacksonville): No Stats Available vs. Seattle Seahawks

*Tyler will recap the Cats in Denver tomorrow morning.
