Kentucky Wildcats stopped recruiting Cliff Alexander

In case you missed it, the Kentucky Wildcats and head coach John Calipari are no longer recruiting 2014 power forward Cliff Alexander, who’r ranked on many scouting services as a top-5 player, and some analysts believe he’s the best player in the class.

Nevertheless, the Cats are no longer recruiting him:

 

 

   
Early in his recruitment, it looked as though UK was recruiting him as hard as anyone was, but Calipari likely saw he didn’t have a great chance to land him.

That, or he feels better with other options. Either way, it appears as though another supposed package deal will hurt the Cats’ chances with a recruit.
