1. #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0, 1-0) Last Game @ #6 Texas A&M Aggies 49-42 Win: Coming off a bye week, Nick Saban’s D looked a little rusty despite Sunseiri’s 73 yd Int TD.  Yes, Manziel is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner but Saban’s D gave up the most points since his arrival in Tuscaloosa at 42.  McCarron was a stud (4TDs) as was TJ Yeldon (25-149, TD). Next Game:  vs. Colorado State Rams on Saturday, September 21 @ 7:00 PM ET.

2. #6 LSU Tigers (3-0, 0-0) Last Game vs. Kent State Golden Flashes 45-13 Win: Another game, another 21 put in the First Quarter for LSU.  These hot starts make the rest of the game much easier.  Zach Mettenberger was efficient behind Center in throwing his 3 TDs.  The real story is the rushing attach of Jeremy Hill and Terrence Magee.  They averaged 10.6 and 12 ypc and accounted for 3 TDs.  Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham add a great compliment to that running game, accounting for 3 TDs also. Next Game:  vs.  Auburn Tigers on Saturday, September  21 @ 7:45 PM ET

3. #10 Texas A&M Aggies (2-1, 0-1) Last Game vs. #1 Alabama Crimson Tide 49-42 Loss: There would be no repeat of the stunner that Manziel and Co. pulled off against Bama last season.  But man they sure made a game of it.  It was the Manziel (464, 5TD) and Mike Evans (7-247, TD) show and all Bama could do was watch.  A couple costly INTs did A&M in as one was returned for a TD.  Despite the loss, they are still among the top teams in the nation. Next Game:  vs. Southern Methodist on Saturday, September 21 @ 7:00 PM ET

4. #9 Georgia Bulldogs (1-1, 0-0) Last Game BYE:  Next Game: vs. North Texas Mean Green on Saturday, September 12 @ 12:21 PM ET

5. #12 South Carolina Gamecocks (2-1, 1-1) Last Game vs. Vanderbilt Commodores 35-25 Win: This game almost got away from Spurrier and the Game Cocks but Connor Shaw wouldn’t allow it.  He was incredibly efficient in the pocket, throw 3 TDs and was clutch on the ground, especially on 4th Down situations.  Add RB Mike Davis and they took care of Vandy’s come back.  I didn’t hear Clowney’s name called a ton but he doesn’t have to make every tackle to make every offense adjust.  Next Game:   BYE Week

6. #21 Ole Miss Rebels (3-0, 1-0) Last Game vs. Texas Longhorns 44-23 Win: Bo Wallace is for real.  He’s a legit dual threat option with a killer running game backing his own amazing rushing ability.  Hugh Freeze and the Rebels engineered a huge 3rd Quarter to put the Texas Longhorns to bed.  Ole Miss has a dream set up in QB Bo Wallace, RB Jeff Scott and WR Donte Moncrief all working together to strike a balance that leaves defenses guessing all game long.  The adjustment they made at the half stopped the Longhorns offense in the second.  Literally.  Things are getting interesting in the SEC West.  Next Game:  BYE Week

7. #19 Florida Gators (1-1, 0-0) Last Game vs. BYE: Next Game:   vs. Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, September 21 @ 3:30 PM ET
