Kentucky 3 – Louisville 3 – First Quarter Update

Kentucky has came out on fire today to play against the rival Louisville Cardinals.  No touchdowns have been made as both the Cats and the Cards ended the 1st quarter with a field goal apiece.

The Cats finished the 1st quarter well by executing pressure against Teddy Bridgewater.  By not allowing Bridgewater to complete pass and receivers to catch passes, the Cats finished exactly what they needed to do to complete in the game.  If the Cats keep up this pace, more exciting plays are sure to follow.

The offense has allow been improved today as Maxwell Smith has been making better decision making and find the open Kentucky teammate.  While they haven’t scored a touchdown yet, they did tie the game 3-3 to finish the 1st quarter.
