Former Kentucky Wildcat Johnson Looks Solid In Week 1

It’s so nice to see so many former Kentucky Wildcats doing so well for their respected teams in the NFL now a days. But one of Kentucky’s fan favorites who doesn’t get mentioned a lot is Stevie Johnson and in week 1 he showed he can still be effective even without quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. He was targeted 6 times by rookie 1st rounder EJ Manuel and caught a touchdown on Sunday against the Patriots. Johnson will always be known for his late game winning touchdown for the Wildcats to beat Louisville in 2007 but he has proven to be a great receiver at the NFL level and looks to continue with his success this season with young quarterbacks at the helm of their offense.
