It would appear as though class of 2014 shooting guard James Blackmon Jr. has received a scholarship offer from the University of Kentucky after he decommitted from Indiana on Thursday:
Just spoke briefly to James Blackmon Sr., who said he thinks UK has offered his son but still needs to clarify that w/ James Jr.

James Blackmon Sr. said he’s “pretty sure” his son will want to take an official visit to Kentucky, but he needs to discuss w/ James Jr

Blackmon is the son of former University of Kentucky player James Blackmon. He committed to the Hoosiers before his freshman season in 2010.
Ironically, Indianapolis forward Trey Lyles also committed to Indiana before starting his high school career, only to decommit from the Hoosiers last summer, and now it appears UK is the favorite for both players.
Blackmon is a consensus top-50 recruit, and his highest rating is by ESPN, who ranks him the 25th-best player in the 2014 class. He would likely be a 2-3 year player in the mold of former Wildcat Doron Lamb:
Like the Doron Lamb comparison for James Blackmon Jr.
