As fall approaches, not only do football practices crank up, but so does basketball recruiting. Jahlil Okafor, the top player in 2014 according to Rivals, mentioned on his Twitter account today that he would be visiting Kentucky on September 9th. Okafor will be in attendance for the UK Alumni Game also that day.

Another player that plans on narrowing his list soon, despite an official offer from UK, is Abdul-Malik Abu. A 2014 power forward, Abu caught John Calipari’s attention at the Peach Jam earlier this summer. “I have a pretty good idea about the four or five schools I want to visit in the fall,” Abu stated. “Hopefully I can make my decision before my school season starts, but I won’t rush into anything if I can’t have it done by then. I want to make sure I choose the best fit for me.”
