It’s been an eventful day today with Coach Cal launching his own clothing line. I must say, I never anticipated a basketball coach has the juice to pull that off with any measure of success but John Calipari’s middle name is “Midas” isn’t it? I mean let’s think about it. He has raised money from everything to victims of the Tsunami in Haiti to the tornado stricken West Liberty families. And to beat that, the clothing line doesn’t suck. It’s pretty stylish and comfortable. Great for working out. But the best aspect of this is that partial proceeds go to charity. You can’t beat that. In the age where so many try to turn a profit, Cal is constantly giving back. This is just another way Coach Cal “gets it” when it comes to being the coach at the University of Kentucky.
