Jaleel Hytchye coming out of La Salle has been known for his blazing speed as an all state runner on the track team. This earned him a lot of respect from schools all over the nation to see a football player with his kind of athleticism and speed. Schools like Tennessee, Louisville, Penn State, Arizona State, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati were just a few of the big name schools to offer Hytchye.

Hytchye was the first commitment of the Stoops era and that should mean a lot to Kentucky fans as a whole. He believed in Kentucky and saw the potential of this program before anybody else did and started a trend. Now look at Kentucky since his commitment, they have gotten more recruits with higher rankings then they ever had and you can thank Hytchye for some of it. With that all said, I believe that Hytchye will be a great contributor not just on defense but special teams with his speed and athleticism he definitely fits the mold of a true SEC caliber corner which Kentucky definitely needs.
