Mark Stoops is continuing to build on what is already the best recruiting class in the history of the Kentucky Wildcats football program, and the latest commitment came from wide receiver T.V. Williams.

Williams announced his college decision from McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas, and picked the Cats over Nebraska, Oregon State, Iowa and Houston. The 5-foot-8, 150-pound receiver is considered a three-star prospect by all of the major recruiting services. He’s ranked as the 64th-best wide out according to 24/7 Sports, and ESPN tabbed him as the 75th-best WR.

Williams has become a hot name on the recruiting trail after his performance in last week’s The Opening event sponsored by Nike, where he joined fellow Kentucky Wildcats commits Drew Barker and Thaddeus Snodgrass.  There,

Williams was one of 162 prospects from around the country who participated in the event, and he went on to run the second-fastest shuttle time (3.83 seconds) at the event and was one of only five players to finish in under 4 seconds. Williams also recorded one of the best vertical leaps at the camp (39.7 inches). he also ran a 4.6 40-yard dash.

Williams joins Snodgrass and Tyre Brady as the only three receiver prospects to publicly pledge to the Kentucky Wildcats.
