Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: June 8th NBA Summer League Recap

In Orlando today, the Oklahoma City Thunder team faced off against the Orlando Magic in a NBA Summer League game.

The matchup saw two Kentucky Wildcats, Daniel Orton and Doron Lamb go against each other in a game that came down to the final minute with the Thunder ultimately taking the win, 79-78.

Lamb averaged 12.3 minutes per game last year and managed 3.3 points on 37% over 47 games (24 with the Magic and 23 games with the Bucks). Lamb was the 12th pick of the 2nd round in the 2012 draft.

Orton averaged 8 minutes per game in 13 games played with the Thunder in 2012-2013, averaging 2.5 points on 46% shooting and 2 rebounds. Orton played 16 games in 2011-2012 with the Magic prior to this season. He was drafted 29th by Orlando in the 2010 draft.
