Eric Dixon

Before UK

 Eric Dixon was a first-team all-state in Alabama Class AAAAA by the Alabama Sports Writers Association. Also one of the nation’s top-60 cornerbacks as listed by Scout.com and Rivals.com and the No. 32 prospect in Alabama by Rivals.  Dixons senior year stats featured 89 tackles, including two quarterback sacks and seven additional tackles for loss, 21 quarterback pressures, eight pass breakups, four fumbles caused, two fumble recoveries and one interception . He helped Vigor to a 15-0 season and state championship his sophomore season.

 

As A Wildcat

Dixon has played in all 12 games as a reserve safety as a freshman in 2011 and on special teams.  Played a good amount of time in the secondary as a nickelback  and had 4 tackles including  a quarterback sack on a safety blitz.  As a sophomore Dixon played in eight games and totaled seven tackles. His best game came against Georgia when he made three tackles, including a quarterback sack, and also caused a fumble on special teams.
