Los Angeles Clippers Eric Bledsoe Traded to the Phoenix Suns

It’s been a wild offseason for former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA. Several former Cats have been traded over the past week, and now Los Angeles Clippers point guard Eric Bledsoe is on the move, and will likley be teaming up with former Cat Archie Goodwin with the Phoenix Suns:

The good news is Bledsoe is going to get paid in the summer of 2014, as he will be a restricted free agent.

The Clippers have been rumored to be shopping the 23-year-old Bledsoe since the trade deadline back in February, and Paul’s agreement to sign a new five year, $107 million deal means he’s once again more expendable for a Clipper team looking to maximize its assets heading into a season where they’ll be projected as one of the top teams in the Western Conference and contend for a berth in the NBA Finals.

Bledsoe, 23, averaged 8.5 points with three rebounds and three assists in 76 games last season.
