The Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder squared off for game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals last night. Former Cat, Tayshaun Prince saw action in last night’s game with 4 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists, despite his hip injury from game 1. As mentioned after game 1, Prince said he would be okay to play for last night’s game, and that seemed to be the case as he played 34 minutes in last night’s thriller. The balance of game was not decided until the final minutes of the 4th quarter. When the smoke cleared and after a few key plays by Prince’s teammates, Prince and the Memphis Grizzlies came out on top for game 2 beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 99-93 and tying the series at 1-1.

Game 3 is May 11th on ESPN.  It’s good to see Prince back in the playoff grind after a couple of down years in Detroit.
