This weekend the NBA Playoffs got underway and Saturday night there were 4 games being played. 4 Former Wildcats saw action with those teams. Here is a recap of those games.
Brooklyn Nets (49-33) 106 – Chicago Bulls (45-37) 89
The much talked about Chicago Bulls defense couldn’t handle the Nets last night as Brooklyn shot 60 percent from the field in the first half. The Nets shot nearly 56 percent for the game and had 6 players in double figures. Reggie Evans was the only starter for the Nets that didn’t score in double figures but he was still effective, grabbing a game high 13 rebounds. Keith Bogans played almost 10 minutes with 0 points and 2 rebounds. Nazr Mohammed had a little over 6 minutes for Chicago and also had 0 points and 2 rebounds. The teams will meet again Monday night, April 22 at 8:00 pm ET in Brooklyn.

Los Angeles Clippers (56-26) 112 – Memphis Grizzlies (56-26) 91

The high-flying Los Angeles Clippers only had 1 dunk last night but that didn’t stop them from playing above the rim. They out rebounded Memphis 47-23 (14-4 on the offensive glass which led to 25-5 second-chance points).L.A. had seven players in double figures last night to include Eric Bledsoe who came off the bench and scored 15 points with 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Tayshaun Prince started for Memphis but wasn’t effective offensively as he only had 2 points with 4 rebounds and 3 assists. The teams will play again Monday night at 10:30 pm ET in Los Angeles.
