Former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA: 04-12-2013 Edition

Last night saw a couple former Wildcats in action, a streak snapped and a decimation occur.  It seems that some players enjoy team success in college and the pros and many of them wore the Blue and White.  Here’s what we had last night.

Marquis Teague- The Bulls ended the 13 game win streak of the New York Knicks last night and unfortunately it’s not because Teague carried them at the point.  Since the re-emergence of Nate Robinson, Marquis has scarcely seen the court.  But after Nate dropping 35 on them last night, it’s tough to sit him.  Nevertheless, Teague is gaining valuable experience in the league and will be in the post season as a rookie so that’s pretty sweet.  Last night he finished with  a rebound in one minute of action.

Daniel Orton- It looks like the wanderer may have found himself a place in the league after all.  Having spent much of this season in the D-League and dominating for his team, Brooks gave him another shot and though he didn’t play a lot last night, he still played.  That’s pretty good for a first rounder who was a backup Center.  His Thunder destroyed the Golden State Warriors last night and in his  five minutes on the court he had an assist.
