With the disappointing end to the men’s basketball season, Big Blue Nation has now turned its attention to the football program and hopeful resurgence led by new head coach Mark Stoops. The first look at the team will be in three days at the annual Spring Game. Although the incoming freshman class will not be participating in the scrimmage, Wildcat fans will soon become very familiar with the incoming class and the talent will be centered around three states: Florida, Kentucky, and Ohio. With the current staff that Mark Stoops has it has become clear that these will be the “pipeline” states for many incoming freshman classes to come at Kentucky. So, to pay homage to the future, I decided to take a look back at the past. As a result, I compiled my own list of the top 10 ex-Kentucky Wildcat players to hail from the states of Florida, Kentucky,  and Ohio separately since The Air Raid (1997). I will start tonight with my top 10 list for the state of Florida. Check back at the site the next two nights for my other two top 10 lists.
