McDonald's All American Game Recap: West 110- East 99

In this game studded with 10 soon to be SEC players and 6 coming to Kentucky the West pulled out the win. This #1 recruiting class for John Calipari could very well be the best recruiting class in college basketball history and it could be getting even better if Andrew Wiggins the standout from Huntington Prep commits to the Cats. Kentucky has more McDonald’s All Americans in this class then every single other Conference.  Arizona commit Aaron Gordon is the McDonald’s HS All American MVP with 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting and 8 rebounds. For the future Wildcats Dakari Johnson led with 12 points, Julius Randle and Andrew Harrison had 11, Aaron Harrison  and James Young had 6 and Marcus Lee had 2. The future looks very bright for the Wildcats with Poythress, Wiltjer and Cauley-Stein returning and with this class coming in there should be a great depth for Calipari to work with which he has not been able to have these past few years. We will see how these players mesh together but if tonight was any indication its going to be a very fun season in 2013-14 with a lot of running and gunning.
