Former Kentucky Wildcats In The NBA: 4-3-2013 Edition

Although there only a couple of games in the NBA yesterday, they were highly entertaining.  A total of three former Wildcats were in action.  Let’s take a look at how they performed.

Washington Wizards 90 – Chicago Bulls 86

John Wall, Guard, Washington

Nazr Mohammed, Center, Chicago

Both of these teams were evenly matched last night and it showed as the game came right down to the wire.  John Wall has been playing phenomenal as of late and filled the stat sheet again last night with 27 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots.  Mohammed gave the Bulls solid minutes and recorded a double-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and a blocked shot.

Los Angeles Lakers 101 – Dallas Mavericks 81

> Jodie Meeks, Guard, Los Angeles

The Lakers have been fighting all year to grab the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.  They can’t afford to lose any games for the rest of the regular season, and last night they showed that they still have some fight left in them.  For most of the game it wasn’t much of a competition and Meeks contributed 8 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal for the Lakers.
