And its the Wildcats after all. The Arizona Wildcats, that is for Aaron Gordon. Gordon, Rivals #6 player overall and the #3 rated SF in the 2013 class, chose Arizona over the Kentucky Wildcats, Oregon Ducks, and Washington Huskies. Washington had been seen as a favorite for quite a while, but Gordon had hinted that when his parents were shocked when he told them his decision.
ESPN has Gordon rated as the #4 player in the glass and here is a look at their scouting report of Gordon:
When it comes to effort and bounce there are few prospects that can compete with Gordon. The ultra-bouncy 4/3 has an evolving offensive game, great hands, and a contagious competitive spirit. He is relentless around the paint area getting numerous tip-ins and dunks. In addition, he is getting more fluid off the dribble and is a gifted passer. He has point forward skills and can facilitate the offense with aplomb. He has become much more explosive in recent months and is relentless at both ends of the court. He can block a shot at one end and finish strong at the other end-usually with a thunderous dunk. He is a terror on the offensive glass and he has the skills and savvy to make plays at the rim or deliver the nifty assist.
