2013 NCAA Basketball Tournament: Ohio State Buckeyes 73 – Arizona Wildcats 70

Early in this game, the first Sweet 16 game of this tournament, the Arizona Wildcats took the early lead and led by as much as 10 in the first half, however, Ohio State brought it back within 4 at the half.  In the second half, Ohio State had the lead by as much as 8 a few times, but eventually Arizona battled back to tie the game on a Mark Lyons free throw with just 21 seconds remaining.  Ohio State’s LaQuinton Ross came off the bench to have a huge game for the Buckeyes, including the game winning three with 2 seconds left in the game.

Ohio State was led by 20 points from Deshaun Thomas as well as 17 points off the bench for LaQuinton Ross.  Aaron Craft added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the Buckeyes.  Arizona was led by Mark Lyons’ 23 points and Solomon Hill’s 16 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Ohio State Buckeyes move on to play against the winner of the LaSalle vs. Wichita State game later tonight.
