4PM Headlines: Julius Randle Added To McDonald's All-American Game


 

Let’s start today’s 4PM Headlines with a bit of recruiting news.  Current Kentucky Wildcat target Julius Randle has officially been added to the McDonald’s All-American Game Rosters.  If Randle picks Kentucky, then the Wildcats will have a total of 6 participants in this years game.

Former Kentucky Wildcat DeMarcus Cousins got into a verbal altercation with a Sacramento Kings fan during last night’s game against the Denver Nuggets.  The Kings lost the game, 120 to 113.

ESPN published an article today, handing out national awards for college basketball this season.  Included in the article was a section for teams that are “Just Waiting For Next Year”.  The Kentucky Wildcats came in on that list, referencing their solid recruiting class for next season.

Former Kentucky Wildcat Josh Harrellson signed with a professional team in Puerto Rico.  Harrellson is supposed to join Brujos de Guayama sometime today for his first practice.

On Selection Sunday, Turner Sports will be releasing a documentary about the legacy of Kentucky Wildcats basketball, entitled “Bluegrass Kingdom: The Gospel of Kentucky Basketball”.  Hip Hop and Rap artist, Drake, will be the narrator for the documentary.
