Kentucky Wildcats Basketball: Andrew Wiggins to make one last stop in Kentucky...twice

As you may or may not have heard by now, the Class of 2014’s top ranked player and UK prospect Andrew Wiggins (Toronto,ON/Huntington Prep) is coming to the Bluegrass State this week. He is scheduled to make his official visit to Kentucky on Wednesday for the Mississippi St. game. “I know it’s probably not the greatest game in the world for Kentucky. But he was at the Carolina game last year, so he’s seen the atmosphere when it’s at its highest,” said Rob Fulford, Head Coach at Huntington Prep.

But Wiggins will also be in Kentucky on Saturday at Boyd County Middle School. The occasion? Huntington Prep will play United Leadership Academy (Canada), replacing the previously scheduled game with Montverde Prep (FL) in Louisville. If you don’t catch him Saturday, be sure to cross your fingers and hope it won’t be his last game in the Bluegrass. Speaking of Montverde, 2013 UK commit Dakari Johnson was in Lexington this past weekend. Most interesting comment from his visit? “Trying to hang one next year”
