Due to the All-Star Weekend festivities there weren’t any NBA games yesterday.  There were two former Cats participating in the All-Star activities on Saturday night, however.

The Detroit Pistons’ Brandon Knight played in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge while the Los Angeles Clippers’ Eric Bledsoe played in the Sprite Slam Dunk Competition.  Both of the former Wildcats went out in the first round of their respective competitive challenges.  Damian Lillard, a rookie for the Portland Trail Blazers, took home the first place trophy for the Skills Challenge.  The Slam Dunk trophy was claimed by Terrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors.  The three-point contest also took place last night and was won by the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving.

All-Star Weekend wraps up Sunday night with the NBA All-Star game at 7 p.m.
