We do have a little official news concerning Nerlens Noe;s knee injury from last night. The UKAA just tweeted that the x-rays that were taken last night at Shands hospital came back negative. It is important that this just means that there were no fractures or breaks in the bones, so for now we will take this at face value.
Nerlens Noel update: X-rays taken last night were negative. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI this morning.

As the tweet says, Noel will undergo an MRI today, and that is going to be the key thing. An MRI is what is going to determine if there is any other structural damage or ligament damage to the knee and will let us know what the extent of the injury is.
It’s important to keep in mind that the clean x-ray is by no means an “all clear” for Noel. As soon as we hear more on the results of the MRI, we will post it on the site.
Now, I am not a doctor, so I found this and this may be helpful in describing the procedure.
