Coming off of one of the greatest recruiting classes in Kentucky Football history, Mark stoops isn’t letting up as he now has his sights on building an even better class in 2014, and today he may have gotten the biggest commitment since coming to UK just a few months ago. The Cats received a commitment from 2014 defensive end Denzel Ware from Crestview, Florida.
Ware initially committed to Florida State, but decided to reopen his recruitment recently when the mass defection of FSU coaches took place, leaving Ware with a feeling of uncertainty regarding FSU. With Stoops and defensive ends coach D.J. Elliot leaving FSU to come to UK, it made the Cats a viable landing spot for one of the top defensive ends in the 2014 class.
Ware sported offers from a “who’s who” of elite BCS programs, including Alabama, Florida, FSU, and several other programs.
