There were only two NBA games being played last night, but there were a total of three former Kentucky Wildcats suiting up in those games.  Jodie Meeks, Marquis Teague and Nazr Mohammed all took the floor in last night’s action.  Let’s take a look at how each player faired individually.

Denver Nuggets 128 – Chicago Bulls 96

  • Marquis Teague, Guard, Chicago
  • Nazr Mohammed, Center, Chicago

The first two former Wildcats in action last night played in the Chicago Bulls vs. Denver Nuggets game, both for the Bulls.  Marquis Teague played 22 minutes off the bench and had 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.  Nazr Mohammed came off the bench to play 10 minutes, finishing with just one steal in his time.  The Bulls got beat by the Nuggets by the score of 128 to 96.

Boston Celtics 116 – Los Angeles Lakers 95

  • Jodie Meeks, Guard, Los Angeles

The final former Cat in action suited up for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Boston Celtics last night.  Jodie Meeks played 21 minutes off the bench and finished with 13 points, 3 rebounds and a steal.  The Lakers were beat by the injury-laden Celtics last night, as Boston has not lost a game since former Cat Rajon Rondo tore his ACL and was ruled out for the rest of the season.  Celtics win by the score of 116 to 95.
