We knew from the introductory press conference that Mark Stoops was going to things big and with flair. However, even the biggest UK football supporter in Lexington had to be shocked when the following commercial appeared during the Super Bowl Broadcast:

It’s just another example of the big splash Stoops is making at UK.  From what I gather, this was only shown in Lexington, but I would start looking for it statewide.  And I know that observers from outside Kentucky like to shake their head at UK fans saying that the program will be turned around, but it is steps like this that prove Kentucky is going for broke.

Make no mistake.  Mark Stoops has hit Florida like a hurricane.  Kentucky has 20 commitments and 40% of their recruiting class hail from the Sunshine State.  Or 15% of the class are from the Orland area.  And there could be more.  Asiantii Woulward (also from Orlando area) and James Hearns are two of the names still in play for National Signing Day.  Joker used to recruit Florida in the past but never to this extent (granted three of the eight Florida players are Joker’s) and never to this quality.  Chris Hayes of the Orlando Sentinel introduces us to the “Orlando Three” .
