Former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA: 2/1 Edition

There was only one former Kentucky Wildcat playing in the NBA last night,  DeAndre Liggins of the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Let’s take a look at how Liggins and the Thunder faired in last night’s action.

Oklahoma City Thunder 106 – Memphis Grizzlies 89

  • DeAndre Liggins, Guard, Oklahoma City

Former Cat DeAndre Liggins came off the bench last night for the Thunder to play 8 minutes, scoring 2 points, dishing out an assist and pulling down a rebound.  The Memphis Grizzlies are fresh off a trade that sent Rudy Gay to the Toronto Raptors, but a former Kentucky Wildcat was involved in the three-team deal, as Tayshaun Prince was traded from the Detroit Pistons to the Memphis Grizzlies.  Prince did not dress for the game against the Thunder last night.  The Thunder got the better of the Grizzlies, by the score of 106 to 89
