Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney four-star safety Marcus McWilson has decommitted from the Nebraska Cornhuskers following his visit to Kentucky this weekend. There were reports that he committed to Mark Stoops on Saturday night, but McWilson said that wasn’t the case on twitter.

He has in fact made his commitment, and will be a Kentucky Wildcat.

McWilson is a 6-foot, 195-pound safety from Ohio, a state that Stoops has now secured multiple commitments from, including 4-star cornerback Jaleel Hytchye.

Here are all of Stoops’ commitments at UK:

  • Javess Blue, 4-star WR, 6-1, 195
  • Jaleel Hytchye, 4-star CB, 5-11, 165
  • Marcus McWilson, 4-star DB, 6-0, 195
  • Za’Darius Smith, 4-star DE, 6-5, 250
  • Steven Borden unranked TE, 6-3, 250
  • Kyle Meadows, 3-star OL, 6-5, 270
  • Alexander Montgomery, 3-star WR, 6-1, 180
  • Regie Meant, 3-star DT, 6-5, 271
  • Nate Willis, 3-star DB, 6-0, 180

Not a bad first class.
