Q: When did UK start recruiting you?

A: It was about two weeks ago that they started calling me. I talked with coach Brown like 2 days ago, and he was telling me about the situation at UK.

 

Q: What did the coaches say about their plans for you if you come to UK?

A: They were telling me I could be a playmaker in the offense in their Air Raid system, that I could be a playmaker deep down the field and in the intermediate passing game

 

Q: How excited are you about potentially playing in UK’s new ‘Air Raid’ offense?

A: In the Air Raid, you’re going to throw the ball 40-50 times a game. That’s exciting to think about the ball being in the air that much having that many opportunities to make plays in the passing game.

 

Q: What about playing time? How important is it for you to come in and play right away?

A: Playing time is not a big deal to me. It would be nice to come in and play as a freshman. If coach feels it’s best for me to come in and redshirt or anything to get me to where they want me to be, that wouldn’t be a bad thing and I would accept it.

 

Q: What schools are recruiting you right now, and which have offered scholarships?

A: I have offers from Washington, Oklahoma State, Cincinnati, Duke, Penn State, Colorado State, San Diego State. Some more schools are recruiting me, but those are the ones I have the most respect for. I’ve felt the most love from them, and feel like I have a bond with those schools.
