The University of Kentucky has recently began recruiting Robin Nezius of Freedom High School in Orlando, Florida. He is from the class of 2014, and has played both defensive back and wide receiver, and at 6″2 188 lbs, he already has the ideal size and build to play in the SEC. Robin was gracious enough to give us an interview to update us on his recruitment.

Q: There’s not a whole lot of information out on you right now. Tell everyone where you play high school football at, what positions you play, and how would you describe yourself as a football player and as a student athlete.

A: Right I’m playing Football at Freedom High school. I play free safety, wide receiver and also any other skill potion. I would describe myself as an Highly aggressive shutdown DB with good speed and ball skills. Also, I have an High football IQ and most people who know me would say that I’m the type of  person who hate losing more than I love winning! In the class work I’m very active and Also asking question if I don’t understand something i also work hard in the classroom.


Q: Which of the schools that have extended offers have recruited you the hardest? Have any offered scholarships?

A: FAU, Clemson, FIU , Arizona , Michigan State , Pitt , USF and many more . As of right now I don’t have any offers but some are sure to come this spring.


Q: What visits do you have planned?

A: FAU, Florida State, Miami, USF, and FIU


Q: When did UK start recruiting you?

A: These past couple of days


Q: What did the coaching staff say about their plans for you if you come to UK?

A: This summer or for the spring game
