Former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA: DeMarcus Cousins ejected in game vs. Dallas Mavericks

In last night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks, Kings C DeMarcus Cousins finished the game with 29 points on 9-of-14 shooting to go along with nine rebounds and four assists. Only problem this game is that Cousins finished the game a bit early. Cousins was called for a flagrant two foul, and was thus ejected from the game. Cousins hit Vince Carter in the throat by swinging his arm after getting up on a play in which he lost his balance, and Cousins certainly disagreed with the call. “I swear to God I didn’t try to do that. I’m just tired of being in these situations. I’m pretty sure my reputation will come into play … but hopefully they’ll realize it wasn’t intentional.”
