The Kentucky Wildcats open SEC play tonight, as they head down to Nashville to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores.Vanderbilt beat Kentucky for the Southeastern Conference tournament title the last time the teams met before the Wildcats went on to win the program’s eighth national title. Seven players — four from Kentucky and three from Vanderbilt were selected in the first 31 picks of last June’s NBA draft.
The Commodores (6-6) are off to their worst start in five years, while the Cats (9-4) are looking to get their sixth win in their past seven games after starting the year 4-3.
