Houston Rockets forward Patrick Patterson’s rehab from his bruised right foot is going well and he might return against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
For me to come back earlier than anticipated would be great. I have no pain, but some soreness just from working it. I’m working to get it stronger so nothing will come up in the future. Hopefully, I will be back before the month is over. My goal is to be on the court playing this month. That is my focus right now.
Prior to the injury, Patterson was averaging 13.8 points and 4.2 rebounds as the starting power forward. He” likely reclaim that role from Marcus Morris when he returns. Meanwhile Terrence Jones is working in the D-League right now, and it’s unclear when/if he’ll return to the Rockets this season.
