*NCAA FINAL FOUR
Here we go again in the game that needs no introduction. Former Wildcat coach Rick Pitino is 4-7 against Kentucky, but he has not beaten a Kentucky team coached by someone other than Billy Gillispie since 2003. Tubby Smith won his last three games against the Ville and John Calipari is 4-0. The Kentucky team that handled Louisville twice last year has gone on to the NBA and most pundits have Louisville as a 10 point favorite or so. Even history indicates it may be time for Louisville to win a game. Kentucky has not won five straight games against the Dirty Birds since a span from 1916-1951.
However, if you want to get all historical, this may not be a good sign for Louisville either. The Cardinals have come into this game ranked #4 in the country twice before and lost both games. History also indicates that the home court advantage may not be as big a deal as people may think. Kentucky is 6-4 in their last 10 games at Louisville. Regardless, this game is played on the court and not on paper, so lets meet the Dirty Birds.
