Celebrating 2012...

There’s a lot to be thankful about this year as not just as fan of the Kentucky Wildcats but also as one who writes about the Wildcats.

If someone had told me at the start of March that I would be able to interview so many ex-Cats in the NBA or even those playing in major and minor league levels of baseball, I would have flat out said “No, you are crazy.” Or to take a line from Coach John Calipari, “You people are crazy!” But it did happen.

Here are the I interviews I have done over the several months:
Doron Lamb
Keith Bogans
Frank Vogel

Darius Miller
Josh Harrellson
Taylor Rodgers
Andrew Albers
Brian Adams
Luke Maile
Logan Darnell
Michael Williams
Keith Madison
Scott Downs
Randall Cobb
Reese Phillips
Tubby Smith on Darius Miller

Some of the other articles that I really enjoyed writing:
Book review of 100 Things Wildcats Fans Should Know And Do Before They Die
Randall Cobb: Playmaker
Ex-Kentucky Wildcat Anthony Davis will be a “Franchise-Changer” for New Orleans Hornets
Ex-Kentucky Wildcat Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and his NBA Draft Options
Rajon Rondo: There’s Nobody Like Him

The above articles were the ones that I felt really stand out. I will be arranging interviews with some of the ex-Cats in the NBA and even though that are in minor league baseball. This afternoon, I spoke to Jodie Meeks, one of nearly two dozen ex-Cats in the NBA. That interview will go online tomorrow afternoon.

I hope everyone is enjoying the end of the calendar year and that it comes with the third victory over Louisville in basketball in a one year period.
