Christmas with the Wildcats



It’s been a rocky season thus far for the University of Kentucky basketball team. Much of the early season struggles can be attributed to not having Ryan Harrow, who was by-far the MVP of Saturday’s win over Marshall as he scored a season-high 23 points on 10/17 shooting and looked like the point guard everyone expected him to be.

His return gives the Cats stability at the point guard spot, allows Archie Goodwin to play his natural shooting guard spot, and gives UK a veteran PG heading into Saturday’s showdown with the Louisville Cardinals, who will boast a #4 ranking. Getting a healthy and confident Harrow is as good a gift as the Cats could have asked for.

Saturday’s game will also be the first time since the UK-UL rivalry resumed in 1983 that the Cats will be unranked while the Cards are in the top-5. All the pressure will be on UL, who have’t beaten Kentucky since John Calipari became the head coach.
