GAME 10

LIPSCOMB BISONS (4-4)
DECEMBER 15, 2012 – 12:30PM
RUPP ARENA – LEXINGTON, KY

TV – FSN, ESPN3

KENTUCKY LEADS SERIES 1-0

LAST MEETING
11/14/2005: KENTUCKY 67 Lipscomb 49

The cupcake holiday tour continues at Rupp Arena on Saturday as the Lipscomb Bisons make the stop to pick up the paycheck and obligatory beatdown.  Lipscomb is a liberal arts school from Nashville and the Bison reside in the Atlantic Sun Conference.  Libscomb was 13-18 last season and were demolished by Ole Miss 91-45.  Lipscomb also lost to Murray State 88-79 and actually had the Racers down at the half.  But that was a home game and even though is going to be a “Holiday Crowd” at Rupp, the atmosphere can still be intimidating.

The game should be interesting solely for the “Twin Factor”.  Lipscomb is led by the Smith Twins, Malcom and Martin, so Harrison Twin fans will get a kick out of that.  Other than that, this should be a typical holiday beatdown.  IF it isn’t, expect John Calipari to have his team pulling Santa’s sled around Lexington at 4AM Christmas morning and giving the reindeer a break.  Other than that, I’m still trying to figure out why the official team name is “Bisons” when Bison is plural.  That said, let’s meet the Bison(s).
