1. #5 Florida Gators (7-0, 0-0)- Last Week: W 72-47 vs. FSU: On Andrew Wiggins night…nothing went right for FSU. Yet another reason why he is likely a UK committment. Florida has the total package right now with Boynton and Young kicking arse and taking names. They will contend for the East but I wouldn’t sell my Wildcats down the road yet. Still have to beat the Champs…Chumps. This Week: 12/15 at #8 Arizona

2. #12 Missouri Tigers (8-1, 0-0)- Last Week: W 81-65 vs. Missouri State, W 68-38 Tennessee State: No surprise here. Defense is king in the SEC and Missouri w/Pressey should dominate like this Ever. Single. Time. They are a much better addition in the SEC with basketball than Football. Frank Haith is doing some great things out West. This Week: No Game

3. Kentucky (6-3, 0-0) Last Week: W 88-56 vs. Samford, W 74-46 vs. Portland: After some tough losses to ND and Baylor, Cal has the Cats back on track and working out their issues…at the life of these “pay for play” teams. Neither stood a chance against the athleticism or length of the Cats and most of the SEC won’t either, once Harrow takes his rightful place among the Elite PG’s Cal’s been churning out. Watch out. This Week: 12/15 vs. Lipscomb

4. Alabama (6-2, 0-0) Last Week: L 81-76 at Dayton: despite the loss to Dayton, Anthony Grsnt has his club playing with the toughness that puts them among the top in the SEC. They’ve dropped the last two (Cincinnati and Dayton) by a total of 4 points. Lacy, Releford, and Steele are a lethal back court so expect the losing to stop. This Week: 12/15 at VCU

5. LSU Tigers (5-0, 0-0) Last Week: No Game Last Week: With the unexpected suspension of Kentucky product, Anthony Hickey, their future is a little uncertain. What’s not uncertain are that Shavon Coleman and Johnny O’Bryant will pick up the slack. The void left by Hickey will be felt most on D (4.4 SPG & Assists 5.2) to be successful this season, he will be needed. This Week: 12/14 at Boise State

6. Texas A&M Aggies (7-1, 0-0) Last Week: W 62-54 vs. Stephen F. Austin: These Aggies are faring as we’ll as their football counterparts this far in their first year in the SWC. Led by Sr. Elation Turner at 16.5 PPG, theyve recovered nicely from the embarrassment that was their only loss. This Week: 12/15 vs. Oklahoma

7. Ole Miss Rebels (6-1, 0-0) Last Week: L 65-62 at Middle Tennessee State: Ok, so admittedly I peniciled this as a W, so WOW. The idea didn’t sit we’ll with me that an SEC school had an away game to these guys and they didn’t see fit to bother showing up. This Week: 12/14 vs. East Tennessee State
