It was a busy day in the NBA for former Cats as twelve of them took the floor for their respective teams last night.  Eric Bledsoe, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Rajon Rondo, Darius Miller, Brandon Knight, Tayshaun Prince, Nazr Mohammed, Marquis Teague, DeMarcus Cousins, Chuck Hayes, Patrick Patterson and Terrence Jones all took part in last night’s action.

Detroit Pistsons 104 – Cleveland Cavaliers 97

Two of the twelve former Cats took part in last night’s Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game.  For the Pistons, Brandon Knight went off for 30 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.  Also for the Pistons, Tayshaun Prince finished with 14 points and 8 rebounds.  The Pistons got the win over the Cavs by the score of 104 to 97.

Sacramento Kings 99  – Portland Trailblazers 80

Two more former Cats played in last night’s Sacramento Kings vs. Portland Trailblazers game last night.  For the Kings, DeMarcus Cousins finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds.  Also for the Kings, Chuck Hayes came off the bench to finish with 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal in 14 minutes of play.  The Kings got the win over the Trailblazers, 99 to 80.

Two former Cats took part in last night’s Dallas Mavericks vs. Houston Rockets game last night; however, only one saw any playing time.  For the Rockets, Patrick Patterson got the start and finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists, while teammate and former Cat Terrence Jones did not play in last night’s game.  The Rockets fell to the Mavericks 116 to 109.


Boston Celtics 92 – Philadelphia 76ers 79

After finishing with a triple double two nights ago, Rajon Rondo fell just shy of getting the triple double last night.  Rondo finished with 7 points, 11 assists and 9 rebounds for the Celtics.  The Celtics got the win nevertheless, 92 to 79.

San Antonio Spurs 132 – Charlotte Bobcats 102

Former Cat one and done Michael Kidd-Gilchrist started last night for the Bobcats and finished with 8 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks.  The Bobcats got blown out by the spurs, 132 to 102.

Los Angeles Clippers 117 – Phoenix Suns 99

Former Cat Eric Bledsoe came off the bench for the Clippers last night to score 10 points, dish out 4 assists and grab two steals.  The Clippers got the better of the Phoenix Suns, 117 to 99.

Miami Heat 106 – New Orleans Hornets 90

  • Darius Miller, Forward, New Orleans

Former Kentucky Wildcat and fan favorite Darius Miller played 24 minutes off the bench last night, scoring 2 points, grabbing 3 rebounds and having 2 assists as well.  The Hornets got beat by the Miami Heat, 106 to 90.

Chicago Bulls 93 – New York Knicks 85

  • Marquis Teague, Guard, Chicago
  • Nazr Mohammed, Center, Chicago

The final two former Cats played in last night’s Chicago Bulls vs. New York Knicks game.  For the Bulls, Marquis Teague played 3 minutes and had 1 assist.  Also for the Bulls, Nazr Mohammed played 1 minute but did not accumulate any stats.  The Bulls beat the Knicks 93-85.
