Wildcat Blue Nation Top 25-Week 5

Another week in the books and the top teams, for the most part anyway, remained that.  The one exception is our beloved Kentucky Wildcats.  Indiana, Duke, and Michigan remained undefeated as each won two, defeating North Carolina, Ohio State, and NC State respectively.  And therein lays the beauty that is early season basketball.  Power house clubs measuring and thus far, Duke is coming out ahead.

UK’s two losses this past week, to ND on the road and Baylor at home, illustrate just how difficult it is to play Frosh who play with a Frosh mentality.  Duke doesn’t have to experience this, nor does IU because, let’s face it, come January, we will already see their tapped out potential and can plan accordingly.  That is not the case with these Cats.  So rest assured, Big Blue Nation, we will be alright come March.

Barely retaining the Top spot on the WBN Top 25 are the Hoosiers of Indiana…but only by the slimmest of margins in front of Duke.
