It was a busy day for former Kentucky Wildcats in the NBA last night as 12 former Cats took the floor for their respective teams.  Let’s take a look at how each player did individually.

Oklahoma City Thunder 120 – Houston Rockets 98

  • Terrence Jones, Forward, Houston

In James Harden’s return to Oklahoma City, Patrick Patterson had his highest scoring output of the year with 27 points to go along with 6 boards and 2 assists.  Terrence Jones saw 2 minutes of action getting a steal and blocking a shot.  The Thunder blew out the Rockets 120 to 98.

Brooklyn Nets 95 – Boston Celtics 83

There was a brawl in last night’s game between the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets.  Former Cat Rajon Rondo got ejected in the second quarter after shoving Nets’ forward Kris Humphries when Humphries committed a hard foul on Kevin Garnett.  Rondo finished with 6 points, 3 assists and 2 steals through a quarter and a half.  This game broke his streak of games with 10+ assists, ending at 2nd overall in NBA history, tied with John Stockton.  For the Nets, Keith Bogans played 8 minutes and missed two shots.  The Nets beat the Celtics 95-83.

Detroit Pistons 117 – Phoenix Suns 77

Two former Cats started for the Detroit Pistons against the Phoenix Suns.  At guard, Brandon Knight finished with 19 points and 6 assists.  At forward, Tayshaun Prince finished with 12 points and 3 assists.  Knight, Prince and the rest of the Pistons embarrassed the Suns last night by the score of 117 to 77.

Utah Jazz 96 – New Orleans Hornets 84

With Anthony Davis sitting out with the stress reaction in his ankle, only two former Cats took part in the Utah Jazz vs. New Orleans Hornets game last night.  For the Jazz, Enes Kanter 6 points, 3 rebounds and a block.  For the Hornets, Darius Miller 5 points, 2 rebounds, an assist and a block.  The Jazz beat the Davis-less Hornets, 96-84.


Atlanta Hawks 94 – Charlotte Bobcats 91

The Charlotte Bobcats and Atlanta Hawks faced off last night and former Cat Michael Kidd-Gilchrist got the start and finished with 6 points, 3 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block.  MKG and the Bobcats fell short, 94-91.

Los Angeles Clippers 101 – Minnesota Timberwolves 95

  • Eric Bledsoe, Guard, Los Angeles

Former Cat Eric Bledsoe played 14 minutes last night, finishing with 4 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.  The Clippers got the better of the Timberwolves 101 to 95.

New York Knicks 102 – Milwaukee Bucks 88

  • Doron Lamb, Guard, Milwaukee

Former Cat Doron Lamb played more than he has played in a game all year, last night.  He played 24 minutes and finishing with 8 points and an assist.

Chicago Bulls 101 – Dallas Mavericks 78

  • Marquis Teague, Guard, Chicago

Former Cat Marquis Teague has been struggling to get onto the floor this season.  Last night, he played 4 minutes and dished out two assists.  The Bulls beat the Maveriks 101-78.
