All the rumors, speculation, and handwringing can end. Ryan Harrow is not transferring and does not have the virus that the monkey spread in “Outbreak”. After a couple of weeks of concern and rumors, Ryan Harrow was back on the practice court for the Kentucky Wildcats today and released the following statement:

I would like to thank my teammates, the UK coaching staff and administration along with the Big Blue Nation for their support over the last couple of weeks while I was out. I’m feeling much better and it felt really good to get back on the practice court with the guys today. Unfortunately, when I started feeling better, I had an issue to tend to with my family over the holiday break. Everything is good with that now and I’m excited about playing with my brothers again.

So that’s that. I don’t know how much we can expect to see Harrow play on Thursday versus Notre Dame and I would imagine that will be sorted out in the next three days of practice.  But Ryan Harrow is back and still a Wildcat.  So there you go.  Something else to be thankful for.

Go Cats.
