Former Wildcats in the NBA

Several former Cats’ teams were in action Saturday night, but not many Cats saw action.

Charlotte Bobcats- 108 Washington Wizards-106

>Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, PF, Charlotte

MKG found himself limited by a spot of foul trouble last night, thus the limited production. Not to mention the shooting foul he committed on Martell Webester which ultimately sent the game to OT via FTs. Nevertheless, the Bobcats pulled out the victory, while he was 2 Rebounds away from a Double-Double.

strong>Sacramento Kings-108 Utah Jazz-97

>DeMarcus Cousins, C, Kings
>Chuck Hayes, PF, Kings

Wins sure are tough to come by over there in Sacramento, but Cousins and Hayes are doing everything humanly possible to bring that once proud basketball city back to prominence. Boogie managed 14 Points, 9 Rebounds, and 3 Assists. Not typically the numbers we’ve come to expect from the mercurial big man, but they came in a win so he’ll take it. Hayes chipped in 5 Points, 1 Rebound, 1 Block and a Steal.

strong>Los Angeles Lakers-115 Dallas Mavericks-89

>Jodie Meeks, SG, Lakers

Ok, so the Lakers started the game by tieing the Mavericks hands behind their backs. Seriously. No, I’m kidding but it looked like it. the Lakers destroyed them in the first half. Somehow they let Ron Artest (I refuse to use his stupid legal nick name) score the first 10 points then gave Antawn Jamison some water from the fountain of youth. The group of veterans on this team will only help Meeks in his quest for a ring in the NBA. Tonight he pitched in 11 Points, 5 Rebounds, and 3 Assists. Solid effort all around.

Los Angeles Clippers-93 Atlanta Hawks-104

>Eric Bledsoe,PG, Clippers

I’m always a little shocked at first when the loaded Clippers drop a game. That this was the Hawks by 11, it just makes it that much more confusing. Eric Bledsoe continues to impress with 12 Points, 4 Rebounds and 1 Ast, off the bench.

Miami Heat- Cleveland Cavaliers-

>Josh Harrelson, C, Miami (Inactive)

strong>Chicago Bulls- Milwaukee Bucks-

>Marquis Teague, PG, Bulls (DNP)
>Nazr Mohammed, C, Bulls (DNP)
>Doron Lamb, SG, Bucks (DNP)
