The “Karl Towns Jr will be a Kentucky Wildcat” podcast is on the air

Happy Thanksgiving week Wildcat fans and hopefully we have something you will be thankful for.  On last night’s podcast, we talked with Evan Williams from the fellow Fansided site  Busting Brackets and he had the news that Karl Towns Jr will definitely announce that he will be a Kentucky Wildcat on December 4th.  Evan said that he has multiple sources confirming this and that Towns Jr will reclassify into the 2014 class.  I know it is not earth shattering news for Wildcat fans as Towns has been considered to be a Wildcat lean, but as far as I know, Evan is the only person publicly saying that this will be a fact.  So check out the podcast … Evan is the first guest and it is definitely a good listen.

This will be our only podcast this week, so we wanted to make it special for you.  I was joined by Jason Marcum, Wayne Hunter, Darren Durham, Josh Kays and football editor Kyle and we had a podcast full of Thanksgiving bountifullness.  Anong the other topics discussed were:

  • Josh shares his impressions of Andrew Wiggins firsthand
  • Conference Alignment
  • Football coach search talk
  • The Dooley effect on Kentucky’s search
  • Butch Jones?
  • takeaways from the Kentucky/Lafayette basketball game
  • Ryan Harrow
  • SEC back in play for the BCS
  • and more

As always, you can go to I-tunes and subscribe to the podcast or you can listen below. Also, if you have an iPhone and have iO6 installed, there is a nifty podcast feature where you can subscribe and download the podcast to your phone. You actually get the podcast earlier than we actually put it on the site! And if you go to iTunes, give us a good rating.
