Kentucky Wildcats Football: Joker ready for "final bow" as head coach against Samford

A troublesome season for Joker Phillips, his staff, the team, and for Big Blue Nation is finally near an end. With Senior Day against Samford, team looks ready to play for its’ 19 seniors.

Although Joker says today’s last home stand is for the players, the players say they didn’t want this game without Joker on the sidelines.

After having an incredible night against Lafayette with 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, four steals, Nerlens Noel receives praise from Coach Cal. Calipari said after the game, “Think if I could get all my guys to play with that kind of energy, what we would become as a team.”

Patrick Patterson is consistently putting up big numbers, and is becoming a key player for the Houston Rockets. Despite a two-point loss in overtime, Patterson shot 50 percent from the field and finished with 15 points.

In another close game last night, The Orlando Magic defeated the Detroit Pistons 110-106. Even with the loss, it still didn’t stop Tayshaun from scoring on Glen “Big Baby” Davis. Enjoy.
